OMJA has presumptive approval of the Oklahoma Bar Association to offer workshops that fulfill Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements. Municipal judges who maintain CLE may issue higher fines than those who do not — an advantage to their city or town. Designed specifically by and for municipal judges, the OMJA workshops are highly effective at targeting the issues unique to the municipal courtroom. There are two OMJA-sponsored workshops each year, one in the spring and one in the fall. There is an annual membership fee of $35. Workshop fees are paid separately.
